Ford F-150 Overview
The Ford F-150 is a popular light-duty pickup truck that is now more capable and tougher than ever before. In addition to new appearance features, like the Black Appearance package, that are available for the new F-150, the F-150 is available with many features that increase its durability. The new Ford F-150 is available in seven trim levels.
Engine Platforms
There are a total of six different engine platforms that are available for the new Ford F-150. Four of the six new engine options are V6 engine layouts, and a 5.0-liter V8 engine is available as well. A hybrid powertrain lies among the six powertrains that are offered for the Ford F-150.
Towing Capabilities
The Ford F-150 offers impressive towing capabilities in its standard configuration. With its standard powertrain, the F-150 is capable of towing up to 8,200 pounds. However, the new Ford F-150 is capable of towing up to 14,000 pounds.
